The Perfect Pair of Socks

I only just finished these, my second pair of socks...and they're perfect!  So now I have that template I was after, from which I can knit socks with abandon. Altho coming up next is a pair of wrist/forearm warmers for moi.

I was kind of busy there for a while,  but things freed up again last week.  I'm back to knitting mostly, and reading, and collaging every day when I can.

The weather has been beautiful. This is indeed the Indian Summer that I was hoping for.

Hope you're enjoying October. Happy Hallowe'en! xx

Those socks DO look perfect! I really need to get out that ball of yarn and the sock pattern I found and just knit me up a pair. Some handwarmers too!

Those socks look perfect! I always wear socks at night, and to sleep, when the weather gets cold! I can't fall asleep if my feet are cold! I'm going to guess you will sleep very well with those! :)

Perfection that looks and feels good, too, I'm guessing. Brava!

I have never had a pair of hand knitted socks. I usually like thin socks so I'm not sure if I would like hand knitted socks. Your's do look comfortable though. Happy Indian Summer. I think we missed that one in Northern Indiana since I just checked the temp at 7 AM and it was 32. We should have temps in the 60s during the day and only 40s in the forecast. Oh well, you take what the Universe gives you.
xx, Carol

Well done on the sox. Are you doing two at a time on 1 circular? That looks like the hot ticket but have never bothered to figure it out.

October is the beginning of sock weather and yours look lovely. You get all the satisfaction of the creation process and the comfort of keeping your feet warm. :)
