One of Two

Acrylics and vintage papers on canvas panel, 12x12 inches
This is my first of two paintings for Lesson 10, which was to create a painting over papers collaged onto the substrate.

Otherwise, I'm quiet this morning, without anything to say.  Hope you have a great weekend.  xx

I can see I've been away from your blog for too long. Lots to enjoy in the last few posts. The subtlety of these colours is a delight! This is one I would really like to see 'in the flesh' to look carefully at all those hidden details within.

I love your painting. I am reminded of the frozen Niagara River or lava flowing in Hawaii. :-)

I really like the way that you can see fragments of the text. A great piece.

Really like this one Connie. Great textures and use of color. I agree that it definitely creates a mood. The text and colors are very elusive and mysterious.
