Two Little Guys

Two little pieces on matte board, 4-1/2 x 6-1/2, acrylics and collage.

Humboldt County has been under siege of heavy rains and wind over the last several days, with more to come through the weekend.  Major flooding and many road closures, power out for thousands of people.  For Mendocino and Sonoma Counties as well.  It's a mess out there.  Although I've been virtually unscathed here in Rose Cottage.

Hope you have a good weekend.  Stay warm and dry wherever you are...or cool, if you're in the SoHem.

Hi Connie - I don't seem to have commented on your posts much recently - but I have been visiting! Really like what you're doing with all these small pieces, especially the first today with its great contrast of black and white on that lovely azure blue.

Love these new pieces! Stay dry and safe up there. It's raining here, but not as hard - just under 2 inches for this storm.

I like these a lot--the second is a startling conflagration...or a very bright Aztec sun.

You stay warm and dry, too!

Yikes, the word flooding make my mind jump to 1964 Christmas time, all roommates went home, had to boil water on Xmas day to cook dinner...scary!! Love the work you showed!

I like both, particularly the second one. Glad you are not badly affected by the weather. Everything seems as if it's becoming more and more extreme.
