And I'll be 98. You could have gone all day without reminding me of that! ;-)
Stop that! Frankly, I've been thinking a lot about time too lately, and how little I have left. In reality, I have a lot of time left, but in proportion to what I've already lived and what else I'd like to fill my remaining time with, it feels short. I think I have been subconsciously shifting priorities because of that, letting "less important" things in that I've been far too quick to say there's no time for right now. Such is the aging process, I think.
No matter how long, if it's finite, the time seems incredibly short. Let's just hope we're still creating wonderful things in our 90s! Here's to art in our greying years!
I'm with Meg Fowler, I'll be 98 ...and thrilled if I cab still mess up a page! ;op
It is so surreal to contemplate such things, isn't it? I've been in a similar mindset lately. Things that happened 25 years ago feel almost like yesterday. How can it possibly 2015 already?
Freaky indeed ... 25 years from now I'll be 92 ... Oh gosh!!
Let's hope that we'll all still be blogging in 25 years time.
