A Little Something Else

Five by five inch painting on panel, acrylic paint,
Neocolor I wax crayons, graphite, May 2014
In this renewing-my-commitment-to-painting process, I've been narrowing down possible subject matter.  It must be obvious by now that "circles" is at the top of the list.

Ah circles! So much to explore once you start ... I once did a whole small sketchbook on the subject for a course. I still return from time to time to the ideas I generated and will return again in earnest, I'm sure.

I remember doing a circle piece in Jane's class. There is something calming in this piece.
