New Painting

I began this piece at my third painting class last Saturday, and finished it yesterday.  It's 9 x 12 inches on watercolor paper, with Golden fluid acrylics.  The first layer included some torn papers, most handpainted.  The black dots were applied with a Q-tip over stamped circles.

Oh!!! I love the colors in this and the dots are inspired! Don't you love Golden fluid acrylics. I was amazed at how vibrant and color filled they were. Keep having fun!

Mmm, the colors in this are scrumptious. So many textures and layers. And the black dots are very cool.

I love the iridescence feel to this piece. It has the colors of oil on water. I love those colors.

Another winner. Really beautiful colors and I like that tidbit about the q-tip application.

Oh boy do I love that! The colors are similar to ones that I am working with right now too. Interesting that we have chosen such a similar palette!
