Fractalize Me

A couple of years ago I was hooked on fractals. These are a few of my digital creations...

I'd love to do more of these, it's just a matter of time. Actually, what I'd like to do, is use some of them as patterns for painted warps that I would then weave up. Humph, what a good idea! That idea just came to me and I'll have to try it, maybe sometime this spring.

Wow, that's something totally different than what I am used to from you. I have never tried that myself and must figure out how that is done, because I had seen someone else do that too.

I have Paintshop Pro. Is that the kind of program I could use this for?

There are programs you can easily download. The three I am familiar with are Fractal Forge, Fractal Explorer and Tierazon. Google fractal programs and you'll see a bunch. I've tried others as well but these worked most easily for me. It's a fascinating thing to do.

i have been fascinated with fractals for a long time too. they occur so beautifully in nature. i abandoned them when i found i couldn't play with them in photoshop as easily as i wanted to. but of yours, i love the second image and they way it draws you in to the mystery. these would be outrageous and unusual for patterns in your work. how exciting!
